Jeffrey L. Jackson, CPA
President

Jeff Jackson founded Data Management Services, LLC ("DMS") in March 2001 to provide financial consulting, custom programming, and networking services to automobile dealerships.  Prior to founding DMS, he served for three years as chief financial officer of Lee-Moore Oil Company, a convenience store and petroleum distributor in Sanford, NC.  As CFO, he oversaw the doubling of revenue through acquisitions and site development.

Before joining Lee-Moore, Jeff spent 7 years in the automotive retailing industry with Hendrick Automotive Group in Charlotte, NC, and World Class Automotive Group in Dallas, TX as Director of Financial and Group Controller, respectively.  In these roles, Jeff oversaw accounting, financial and managerial reporting, information systems, and special projects.  In addition, he was responsible for acquisitions and strategic planning.

Throughout his career, Jeff has gained appreciation for the value of software in streamlining accounting, measuring performance, and driving profitability.

Jeff holds a bachelor's degree in business administration, with an emphasis in accounting, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  He has been married for more than 10 years, and they have 2 children.
